November 27, 2023 - 12:00 Two major training events designed to support and advance the training of researchers in the European visuAAL project will take place at the Technische Universität Wien, Austria, the week of 27 November to 1 December 2023: the 3rd Doctoral Seminar to share and test the progress of the ESRs and the Skills School aimed at preparing researchers for the labour market. Skills School: Preparing for the Job Market (27 November 2023). This training is a key part of our initiative to prepare researchers for the job market. During this week, enrolled researchers will participate in educational sessions and workshops led by leading experts and leaders in various fields. Key topics include job prospects after PhD defence, entrepreneurship, business model innovation and privacy in health technologies. III Doctoral Seminar (From 29 November to 1 December) . An event designed to measure and discuss the research advances of our researchers in their different areas of expertise. During this event, researchers will present and discuss their current research, allowing for critical evaluation and valuable feedback from experts in their respective fields. Networking and social time Both events are part of a comprehensive agenda that aims to provide researchers-in-training with a platform for learning, collaboration and preparation for a successful career in their respective fields. These events are part of the project coordination's ongoing efforts to empower pre-doctoral researchers and prepare them for the job market. They also aim to offer valuable networking opportunities, where they can contact other researchers and professionals, and an extensive social and cultural programme to get to know the charms of the Austrian capital.
